Let's draw on a knitted bag! This session's
topic is duplicate stitches, a needlework
technique for creating patterns on an existing
knitted piece. Inspired by the Have a Good Dog
drawing workshop, this session invites you to
draw your favorite dog or another animal of your
choice and translate it onto a prepared knitted
piece using the duplicate stitches. Afterwards,
we will make the knitted piece into a unique
crossbody bag. No experience needed.
Simply having fun with making and exploring an
alternative way of drawing. All the materials
used in the workshop are upcycled or deadstock.
Youβre also welcome to bring your own materials.
Pied is an Amsterdam-based handmade knitwear.
Through repeated purls and stitches, knitting
becomes her way of reconnecting with the world.
By working with deadstock and upcycled materials
and being responsible for each piece she creates,
she aims to make a small but meaningful change within the textile world.

Join Reading Counterpower for a cozy collective reading session.
We will read revolutionary texts aloud together and draw lessons
from anti-imperialist, anti-capitalist, anti-colonial, anti-zionist,
and anti-fascist movements worldwide. After the reading, we discuss
the texts and harvest whatever insights they offer. Through this,
we aim to learn from past and present struggles and build community
while doing so - because itβs time to build another world together.
No prior reading needed!

Get a one-time 15 β¬ introduction to the RZ-300 EP Riso printer,
then work independently next time with your nooo-riso certification card.
Bring a printed design, found image collage, or drawing to print on our RZ-300 EP.
After your first session, you can return anytime on a pay-what-you-print basis.
For laptop-based designs, you can use our inkjet printer to make A4 printouts (paid at base price).
The RZ-300 EP is a second-hand, somewhat capricious model β not ideal for precision work,
but perfect for learning riso and experimenting with DIY projects. It prints only A4 via
its built-in scanner, with inks in Medium Blue, Burgundy, and Black.
First come, first served! When we reach capacity, we may not be able to welcome more participants.
We hope to see you there β drop by with questions or to prepare for the next βRiso Walk-Inβ!
